Internally the floor will require replacement in places and the boat is in need of general repairs and improvements. The engine has been running and the boat systems appear to work.
A hull survey was last carried out in 2014 and the required remedial work carried out. Both the survey and invoice can be made available when viewing the boat. It was last blacked in May 2019 and the Boat Safety Certificate runs to July 2023.
At 38ft, Erskine May is the ideal size for day trips or short breaks exploring the waterways.
Entering the boat from the cruiser stern is the open plan galley/ saloon. The galley is equipped with a gas cooker and a gas/electric fridge. Hot water is provided by an instantaneous gas boiler. There is a stainless steel sink beneath which are various cupboards and drawers.
The saloon has a large fixed seat which can also be used as a single bed. In the corner of the saloon, is a solid fuel stove. The position of the stove allows for good heat distribution throughout the boat. There is also shelving available, providing storage.
A door leads through to the WC and wet-room. The wetroom has a shower and a hand basin and in the WC, there is a cassette toilet.
The front cabin has seating on either side which can also be made up into a wide double bed by moving the dining table.
A door leads through to the fore deck.
There is an area of floor inside at the rear of the boat that requires replacement and the boat is in need of general minor repairs and improvements.
All deck gear is included so the boat is ready to sail.
