A 27ft 1986 Dawncraft Highbridge 4 berth GRP motor cruiser.
Although Lydia has been cruising the waterways for over 35 years, a high-quality interior refit in 2008-2010 and plenty of TLC have kept her looking good and with a slightly unusual layout which makes optimum use of the space.
Her exterior underwent anti-fouling treatment in 2021 and smart new covers were fitted to front and rear at the same time.
The cockpit has full width sofa seating, with a separate seat for the skipper. When not cruising, this area can be converted to provide a large and sociable dining table for summer evenings.
Stepping down into the boat, on the left hand side is a bathroom containing a Porta Potti (new in 2022) and a fold-out handbasin. This is followed by a Pullman-style dinette which provides dining space and can also convert to a double berth if needed.
Opposite the dinette is the galley area, fitted with full sized oven, grill and hob, sink and drainer, tiled work surface and storage cupboards underneath. There are further cupboards adjacent to the galley area.
At the bow of the boat is a further dinette, again capable of being converted to a double bed.
Unusually for a motor cruiser, there are then double doors leading out to the bow area where there are open air seats for a fantastic view!
Lydia was fitted with a new engine and batteries in 2022 and both are still under warranty.
