Mole of Marsh Hall
- 4 berth
- Location: Hilperton Marina
A 58ft 1996 Peter Nicholls 4 berth traditional stern 'Inspection Launch style' narrowboat.
A rare opportunity to own a unique narrowboat built and fitted out by highly respected boat builders Peter Nicholls.
Mole of Marsh Hall is built in the style of a Thames Inspection Launch with a unique and stylish ‘slipper’ stern.
The boat is ‘gas free’. The electrical power is supplied a Travel Pack 3.5kVA engine mounted generator, 12V batteries and an inverter.
The main steering position is in the bow where all helmsman and crew can relax together in the spacious covered cockpit.
Steering can equally carried out from the normal narrowboat position at the stern with the tiller bar.
Entering the boat from the ‘helm position’ is a large saloon which has a fixed dinette which can covert to a double berth.
Large windows make for a light and airy feel to the main living area. There are various storage cupboards and shelves and also loose furniture and chairs.
The galley is well equipped with an electric oven/grill, diesel fired hob and microwave. Beneath the worktops there are cupboards and drawers, a washer/dryer and 12v fridge.
A corridor leads aft to the shower room. This has a shower tray with curtain, a vanity unit with ceramic hand basin and a Portta-Potti cassette toilet.
The sleeping cabin has a fixed double bed. Storage is provided by a full height wardrobe, overhead shelving and a vanity table. Further storage is available beneath the bed.
Steps and doors lead to the rear deck.
A hull survey was carried out on 21st October 2020. This can be made available when viewing the boat.
The Boat Safety Certificate has almost 4 years remaining, the certificate expiry date being July 2024.
Mole of Marsh Hall comes fully equipped ready to use and would be equally suitable as a leisure boat for short breaks and extended stay or as a live aboard boat.
