- 4 berth
- Location: Gayton Marina
A 45ft 1988 David Piper 4 berth traditional stern narrowboat.
At 45ft Nell is an ideal size for navigating the waterways.
Entering through the stern you pass the engine room where you can see all of the boat's controls. Going down the stern steps you enter the double berth bedroom. There is some shelving at the foot of the bed, and also a wardrobe to provide you with extra storage. The boiler is stored in the wardrobe.
Continuing through the boat you come to the bathroom. This is well equipped with a shower, toilet and wash basin. There is some storage under the wash basin and a shelf above it.
The design of the galley and saloon feels very open plan and makes the area feel spacious. The galley is equipped with an under counter fridge, cooker and sink with draining board. A couple of side hatches either side of the boat also allow extra air and light in to the boat. Storage is provided with some under counter cupboards and also some shelving.
The galley leads through to the saloon which contains a multi fuel stove to provide you additional heating on board. Either side of the bow steps is seating which can be converted in to 2 single berths. There is also the option of putting a table in between the seating to provide you with a dining area.
