A 59ft 2002 J L Pinder & Sons 4 berth traditional stern narrowboat.

'Pride of Shanne' has been in the care of the current owner since newly built in 2002, and is particularly well equipped with appliances and storage spaces. She would be suitable as a comfortable holiday home or live-aboard.

The last hull blacking was in 2018, and the BSS certificate is valid until November 2023. 2 solar panels are installed on the roof, and everything currently on the boat is included in the sale.

Entering from the stern the boat is traditionally laid out, with the addition of a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer on the left as you pass through. On the right is a Victron battery charger, and the boat is fitted with an inverter and electric shoreline.

Entering the living space, there is a fixed double berth with side hatches to either side of the boat, and this is followed by particularly generous storage by way of shelves, a large chest of drawers and a full-sized wardrobe.

The bathroom is fully tiled with a pump-out toilet, washbasin, and large shower enclosure. There is also a radiator.

A 'U' shaped galley makes good use of the space and features a built in oven and grill, 4 burner hob, sink and drainer, freestanding fridge and various cupboards and drawers. Next to this is a large dining area with seating and table - this converts to a further double berth for guests if required.

Finally, there is a cosy saloon area with plenty of bookshelves and space for some easy chairs/coffee table. A solid fuel stove can be found next to the bow doors with its own tiled plinth and surround.
