A 62ft 2014 S M Hudson 4 berth traditional stern narrowboat.
This stunning traditional stern narrowboat oozes quality and was built in late 2014 by the highly respected S M Hudson Boatbuilders. It would be equally suitable as a leisure craft or live-aboard.
The exterior is grey and maroon with classic livery, reminiscent of the time when narrowboats were put to work carrying goods. Paintwork both inside and out is tastefully applied with an 'ace of clubs' stern hatch, and classic Roses paintwork inside.
Steps from the stern deck lead into a cosy 'Boatman's cabin' equipped with seating/single berth, storage cupboards, and a solid fuel stove.
Immediately following the boatman's cabin is a large and airy engine room, proudly housing the Lister engine which powers this boat. There is even a handy washbasin in the corner of the cabin. Side hatches feature to both sides of the room.
Moving into the main living quarters, the bathroom is fitted with wc, washbasin and shower cubicle, as well as plenty of storage space. There is then a most attractive double bedroom with wardrobe and drawer space, together with overhead cupboards. Porthole windows feature throughout the boat to continue the classic feel.
The walk-through galley is well equipped with work surfaces. storage cupboards, oven, hob and grill, sink with drainer, and an inset space for a microwave. In addition, there is a side hatch for extra ventilation plus a houdini hatch in the roof.
At the fore end of the boat is a saloon area with a dinette which can provide a further single berth. In one corner is the Kabola diesel fired stove and opposite this a shelving unit and wall mounted TV.
Steps lead through double doors to the front deck which has a cratch cover. There is also bench style seating on each side, perfect for enjoying the views as you cruise along the waterways.
