A 70ft 1983 Dennis Cooper 2 berth traditional stern narrowboat.

A substantial and well-equipped narrowboat with many unusual and unique features. Pike benefitted from being blacked and serviced in June 2023, together with having 12 anodes fitted at the same time.

The exterior livery echoes the working boats of the past, with side hatches to either side of the internal engine room. There are also 3 large roof-mounted solar panels.

Stepping into the boat from the stern you find yourself in a traditional 'Boatman's cabin', complete with classic Roses & Castles artwork, a range stove and seating which can provide a single bed. This is immediately followed by the engine room which houses a Lister HRW3 engine.

Backing onto the engine room is the bedroom which has a double cross-bed, wardrobe space to the side and under-bed storage.

A walk-through bathroom makes maximum use of space and has a good corner shower unit, handbasin with vanity unit and cassette toilet. A large low-level cast-iron radiator features to the side.

The galley features attractive wooden work surfaces together with a freestanding oven, sink/drainer, under counter fridge/freezer and lots of cupboards and shelves for storage.

Finally the saloon is largely open plan and currently houses a sofa, armchair, solid fuel stove, cast-iron radiator and built-in bookcase unit.

Steps lead out to the bow deck which has striking stained glass windows to the front and is protected by a cratch cover and storage.
